True Religion X GRM Daily

January saw GRM Daily team up with American clothing company True Religion for an exclusive show at The Hoxton Basement. The show was curated by GRM Daily’s Toni Ali and True Religion’s Carmen Grace Walker.

Rap veteran Skrapz headlined the evening and set about showing us why hip-hop is alive and well in the UK. With the gritty, monosyllabic flow and nonchalant delivery that has come to characterise modern British gangster rap, Skrapz was able to add some North West London swagger to the brands stellar grime pedigree. He was supported by non other than Young Ads and Dirtbike LB, flying the flag for D Block Europe. 23 Unofficial also performed alongside the DJ’s on the night – Jay Dolce and Tiffany Calver.

The night was a celebration of True Religion’s launch of ‘VOID TACTICS’ a 15 piece capsule collection that included a range of t-shirts, hoodies and – obviously – denim. The collection paid homage to the anonymous youth and embodied the restless vibrancy of Manhattan’s new generation of designers.

As you can imagine guests came dressed to impress, with the chance to flaunt their wears in a specially prepared photobooth – and yes they did take full advantage!!
